2015 Mustang will official debut on December 5
After some time of guessing about release date and debut of 2015 Ford Mustang, the company officially announced that their trademark car, 2015 Mustang will be out on December 5. By that date, Mustang is coming at their 50th anniversary of making legendary pony car. When first whispers about 2015 Mustang started to be heard, many guessed that debut will be set for the same date as 50 years ago – April 17. But, that is not going to happen. December will be month of global launch of 2015 Mustang. The new Mustang is not for US market only, but also for European and Asian customers.
December 5 will be official debut in 5 cities around the world: Dearborn, New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona (Spain), Shanghai (China) and Sydney (Australia). First display at auto shows, pony car will have in January, at 2014 Detroit Auto Show. Start of sale is set for next summer.
We had many chances to watch photos from spy shots, but on Dec 5 we’ll see the final product of many testing. No official info was given about new Mustang. Speculations are telling that it will be powered by various choices of engines – 3.7-liter V6, 5.0-liter V8 with possibly 450 hp, and a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. Shreding and weight loss comparing to previous models are also probable. That would bring better fuel economy.
